My Parents Came to NC

My Dad & Mom flew in Wednesday, June 10.
We had a great visit which was packed full of fun things to do & some travelling.
Thursday - Downtown Wilmington on the Boardwalk
The Cotton Exchange
This is the alley where Jake & I took one of our engagement pictures.
We had "lunch" (ice cream only) at Kilwin's.
They have amazing ice cream.
Jake is eyeing up all the sweets!

Thursday afternoon, we were able to show my parents the house we are in the process of buying. The closing keeps moving. Hopefully, we will close this Friday.
We went down to Wrightsville Beach Thursday evening.
Mom & Dad got there pants a little wet. . .they weren't rolled up high enough.

Friday morning we got up early & headed to Greenville, SC for my cousin, Matthew & Rachel's wedding.
We met my sisters, Lindsay & Emily, in Greenville.

We even got to sneak in a quick visit with my good friends, Joel & Kerri. It was so fun meeting their kids, Eva & Jude. I hadn't seen Joel & Kerri since my graduation from BJU!

Dinner at McAlister's with the family.

Tuttle girl cousins at Matthew & Rachel's wedding.

Jake & Me after the Wedding.

After the wedding, we headed to downtown Greenville to Spill the Beans for some coffee & ice cream.
Saturday morning, we had a Tuttle family brunch at Katie's house. After the brunch, we all headed to Emily's house in Charleston.
I installed the drapes & valence that I made for Emily's dining room window. Emily's house is coming together nicely.
Sunday we did an awesome boat cruise of Kiawah Island.
Most of my pictures from the boat cruise didn't turn out, but it was GREAT! We even saw dolphins.

Jake & I headed back to Wilmington late Sunday afternoon. My parents came back up, with Emily, on Wednesday evening. We did some shopping in Wilmington on Thursday. Dad & Mom flew out early Friday morning. Friday was also Dad's birthday! It was so fun to have them come see us.
We can't wait to have many more family & friends visit (HINT, hint).
