picking strawberries

We LOVE picking strawberries at Lewis Farms. We love it so much we go there year (2011), after year (2013), after year (2009). And multiple times in once season!

Lewis Farms in just a couple of minutes from our house.  Their ice cream is amazing, especially the banana ice cream.  The kids & I went just for ice cream on Thursday afternoon.  This morning we headed there to pick strawberries as a family. A little sampling always happens.

After we were done picking berries, we headed home for a delicious breakfast of homemade waffles with strawberries & whip.  There is also a fresh strawberry pie chilling in the fridge for later tonight!

the THREE crazies

Today is THREE months we have had #babyB as part of our family. He is so sweet & happy.  The girls love their brother.
I absolutely love seeing how foster care is growing & changing our family. The conversations that I have with the girls are interesting, thought provoking & sometimes when Lily yells from the backseat of the van, "hey, we can fit two more kids back here with me."

7 months

#babyB turned 7 months yesterday.
He has been with us for 3 months (on April 20).

He is loving food.
Rolling around like crazy.
Sitting up for a few seconds at a time.
Getting up on all fours (& then wondering what to do next!)

We had a lovely Easter.
After church, we had lunch & celebrated with friends (our NC family).

The kids Easter egg hunt.

Somehow Ella found the majority of the eggs with MONEY inside. She very carefully opened each egg and sorted her candy & money. It was hilarious!

Thanks to the GRAVES family for inviting us to celebrate Easter with them.

#MOMfail - Somehow I did not get a picture of all 3 kids on Easter.
