Saturday evening we headed downtown Wilmington. We took a walk around Pier 33 to see the house boats and then stopped at Fun Bowl for dinner. The kids each ordered a ramen bowl. Jake & I ordered the poke bowl. So flavorful & so good!

Spring Break 2023
We've had a lovely spring break staying here at home - Wilmington & Surf City. Here are the highlights:
Many beach days
Easter at The Bridge with our church family followed by Easter lunch at home and afternoon cupcake making. Ella & Wren made homemade vanilla cupcakes; Lily made the buttercream frosting; each kid dyed their portion of frosting and decorated the cupcakes.
Many kayak & paddle board excursions.
A visit to CMOW
We had some friends come and stay at the beach house Tuesday thru Friday. We spent the day with them on Thursday and had such a great time catching up and playing!
