Project of the Week

I have been wanting to do this project for months, but time has slipped by & life has become more busy. I finally started this project this week. I need to get these things done before the baby comes.
Here was my inspiration.

I started by taping the tree on the wall with painter's tape.

Then I outlined the tree with tape so it was ready to paint.

I did a total of 4 coats of the ivory paint.

The finished product - actually, I'm almost finished, some of the circles need a second coat.

Hoping to totally finish it tomorrow.

Picnic at the Beach

The weather was so gorgeous Friday, I couldn't resist! I took Jake on a surprise supper picnic at the beach. It was a little chilly right on the beach, but it was beautiful.

Didn't We Just Do This?

It's been 2 years, but it seems like just yesterday that Jake & I registered for our wedding. Friday night we registered for Baby Flaming at Target. Saturday we did Babies R Us.

Baby Flaming's Quilt

Jake's mom made our baby a quilt. She asked me what colors & she went with it. We LOVE how it turned out. Now it's time to really start working on the nursery.

Notice the machine quilting - numbers & letters.

The finished product - LOVE it!

Game Day

Jake had his first middle school baseball game today . . . a home opener too. We love baseball at our house (especially the MN Twins)!

Since it was game day, I had to wear my MN Twins shirt. (My Patriots MS baseball t-shirt from last year isn't fitting right now.) My sister, Lindsay, gave us a MN Twins shirt for the baby for Christmas. Can't wait to put it on our baby & watch some baseball, the THREE of us!

I am pretty sure this will be one of the last times that I wear my "normal" jeans. I guess that's pretty good since I'll be 24 weeks on Sunday! I have a BE BAND, which is awesome for being able to stretch clothes during the in-between stages of pregnancy.
