Benny's project

 

Benny is learning all about Life Cycles in school. He recently had to do a project on a life cycle - of course he picked SHARKS. We even recycled his project from last year's 100 days of school and put his 100 sharks teeth in the center of his poster.

Here is some recent school work that has come home. A math story problem that Benny made up that features Kylo Ren and Storm Troopers.

His snowman story is currently displayed on the bulletin board outside of his classroom.

Wren's dessert animals story is currently displayed on the bulletin board outside of her classroom.

Ice Cream with Mr. George

Mr. George joined us for dinner, at our house, on Thursday night.  At the end of dinner he said he wanted to take us all out for ice cream. So we loaded up and went to Kilwins. So fun!

Boba with Lily

Lily has recently discovered boba tea and she loves it.  She has been asking about getting boba on a weekend. Today, Lily & I snuck away to Tap Tea Bar. I was reminded that we need to do this more often - one on one time with each of our kids. It was really fun to catch up and chat about A-L-L the things.

 

An award for Wren

Wren was recognized at school and received a leadership award based on the RAISE values. She was awarded for I - Integrity. Proud of you, Wren!

 

Bekah in NC

We just enjoyed a visit from Auntie Bek. She escaped frigid MN and came to sunny NC. She flew in on Jake's birthday (Saturday) and was here until Wednesday morning. We took a few trips to the beach, hit some local shops & restaurants. Mostly, we enjoyed catching up with her and spending time together. Come again soon, Bekah!
