And we started a new project

It seemed like the family pulled out and Jake started working on this - we are enclosing part of the area beneath our beach house for storage. Eventually we will have a bathroom + shower down there and potentially an extra bedroom... someday.

250 Camps

For the first time EVER, I hit 250 camps in one year at Burn Boot Camp! I was so close last year (like 247) but didn't hit it. I haven't hit it in previous years due to travels, sickness, L I F E, I also attend camps Monday through Friday, not Saturday's. Super excited to reach this goal this year. When I got home, I was greeted by two kids holding a banner on the front porch.

the GIFT that keeps on giving

For Christmas, the kids and Jake each received (from me) a Daybreak Donuts shirt. EVERY time they go in to Daybreak Donuts and are wearing the shirt, they receive a free Sandy Shore donut.
It's going to be a SWEET summer!

Tuttle Christmas in Surf City 2023 - Christmas Day

Christmas morning, Jake & I snuck out early to see the sunrise. We then did our family Christmas and joined everyone else at the big house at 9:30am for Christmas brunch. We started almost every meal by singing Christmas carols. It was a great way to round everyone up for each meal. Grandpa also would have loved it - He loved singing!

After brunch, we opened gifts. Grandma had a gift for everyone - Surf City sweatshirts! We also did an adult gift exchange and cousin gift exchange.

After gifts we played a while and then headed out to the beach. A few brave souls even got in the water. Later Christmas evening we did some family photos.
