2 birthdays & 1 overnight

We celebrated Meg's 41st birthday on Tuesday, January 16. The day began with breakfast made by Lily (pumpkin bars and fruit). I opened some thoughtful homemade cards and gifts from Jake & the kids. The kids headed to school. That afternoon, I brought lunch to Jake at work. After school we had away basketball games and then dinner out at CAVA.

Love it when they're both on the court at the same time!

Ella & I concocted a pumpkin cheesecake and it was very tasty.

For Christmas, I gave Jake tickets to see John Crist: Emotional Support Tour, in Wilmington on Saturday January 20 at The Wilson Center. It was so fun. We laughed our heads off. Jake had hotel points, so we stayed downtown overnight and those 21 hours away were just what we needed!

We celebrated Jake's 43rd birthday on Sunday, January 28. Actually we've been celebrating all weekend with some of Jake's favorite foods and activities. The actual day started out with breakfast made by Ella (scones and fruit). We headed to church and afterwards enjoyed a birthday lunch out at PT's Grille. Of course we watched the NFC and AFC championships and enjoyed some cake later on in the day.
