Visit from the F-troop

The F troop drove all night Wednesday night and arrived at our house at 6 am on Thursday.
It is a pretty special day when your cousins help drop you off at school.

We had such a fun visit.  When our families are combined, we have 8 kids under 7 years old.

We tried to wear them out at the park

We had an Easter Egg COLORING contest.

And the kids had a lot of fun playing with each other & getting acquainted.
We also enjoyed the beach & having the Forman's worship with us Easter Sunday.
Maybe we can go visit then in Florida soon.

weekend update

We had a fun family weekend.  Friday night we had our inaugural picnic at the beach.  It was a little windy & chilly, but that didn't stop the kids from playing & getting wet. We went back again Sunday night.  It was even more chilly & windy, but that didn't stop Ella from swimming - whose kid is this?

The weather has been amazing here.  We've spent most of the days outside.  Unfortunately, that means baths can no longer be s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d to every other day for the big kids.

This stud turned 18 months on Sunday.  He is having full conversations with us, but we don't have a clue what he is saying. His smile lights up the room. He's also started climbing & wandering - HELP!

3 months & an update

This sweetie is 3 months today.  #babyS is smiling lots, coo-ing, rolling over belly to back and sleeping like a champ.  She tends to go most or "all" of the night, as in 10pm-5am or later. Now, we still have to get up a few times to give her her paci, but she is doing great.  We are so thankful for the sleep.

These two look SO much alike.  I know it's hard to tell since I have to cover up their faces, but they are twins in their eyes, nose & lips.

The goal is still reunification with their parents.  They have recently begun having unsupervised visits.  As long as everything continues to progress, they will be moving toward a trial in home placement probably within the next 90 days.  We appreciate your prayers!
