Ella is SIX

It is hard to believe that Ella turned SIX today.  As many wise women have said to me over the years, the days may be long, but they years go by quickly.  It is so true.

We started off the morning with one present and a pancake breakfast.  We always let the kids pick what they'd like for breakfast, dinner and their birthday dessert.

Whole wheat banana pancakes (our family favorite) with ALL THE toppings: bananas, strawberries, blueberries, pecans, chocolate chips, sprinkles & marshmallows.

The stable with horses was a HUGE hit!

Jake & I were able to have lunch with Ella, at school.

After our spaghetti and meatball dinner (Ella's pick), we opened the rest of the presents.

The birthday dessert of choice - strawberry ice cream in a cone.

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY to our sweet caring thoughtful Ella!

Rooms rearranged

**Lily said, "Mom, you have to put this in our book!"
So here it is:
This past weekend, Wren moved to a toddler bed.  We were waiting until after Mexico to make this transition. We rearranged their room and they are loving it!

While rearranging Benny & Wren's room, the girls asked, "Can we do our room too?" Of course! I remember LOVING it when we switched rooms or rearranged bedrooms growing up.  It was always fun!

Mother's Day 2018

Mother's Day was extra special this year.  I really missed the kids while we were in Mexico. (We brought back the girl's dresses from Mexico.) It was wonderful to be all back together. They got lots of hugs, kisses and squeezes and so did I. I am blessed to be the mom of these 4. What a gift!

Mexico 2018

Again this year, Jake was invited on the Champions Trip with his work.  This year's trip was to the same resort as last year.  And once again, it was an amazing week!

Ready for takeoff

We did the 5k race again this year.

The gulf is beautiful. Lots of treasures.

We saw a circle rainbow 2-3 times while in Mexico.

Walks on the beach.
