Visitors

We can't wait for my parents to arrive. . .TODAY!
Today is Lily's due date. My parents bought their tickets to fly here just a few days before Lily actually came. They have been so excited these past 2 weeks to get down here. We have our I (heart) MinneaPoLiS t-shirts on.
Lily can't wait to meet Grandpa & Grandma Tuttle.

Lily's Photo Shoot

Here's a sneak peak at Lily's photo shoot from yesterday. The photo shoot was at our house. LOTS more pictures to come. Our photographer, Joy B., is amazing (& so are her assistants)!

Happy Father's Day

Back in May, at Mother's Day, I was secretly hoping that the baby would be here by Father's Day. We're so glad Lily is here (and that labor & delivery are over)!

Happy Father's Day, Babe. We love you.
Lily wasn't really up for dress up this morning.

. . . AND I had to post of picture of Lily & me. We took this on Thursday after we went and saw the pediatrician. She is doing SO well. Lily weighed 7 lb 3 oz at birth. When we left the hospital on Tuesday, she was down to 6 lb 11 oz. At the pediatrician on Thursday, she was already back up to 7 lb. She's eating like a champ!

any resemblance?

Jake's been "styling" Lily's hair.
I think this is the only hair-do he knows.

pillows

I've been wanting some outdoor pillows for our adirondack chairs. Last weekend I found some outdoor pillows at a yard sale for $3. I then used a former coffee-bean burlap bag & covered the pillows.

Baby Flaming's Room

The baby's room is as done as it is going to get until we meet him/her. I am not really doing much with the walls until we know if it's a boy or girl.
We can't wait to meet this little one!

See crib before & after HERE.

See rocker before & after.
I still need to print off pictures for the frame on the wall.

These little wooden shoes were given to my parents when I was born. They say my name, birth date and weight on them. My mom gave them to me at Christmas.

See story on this quilt HERE.

A dear friend, from MN, sent us this art for the baby's room. We LOVE it.

Remember THIS?

We added more shelves to the lockers since we aren't using a dresser. It's perfect for storage.

Found this at a yard sale on Saturday for $2.

See window treatment HERE.

SHOES - I've hit the jackpot at a couple of yard sales recently. Most of these shoes I paid 25 or 50 cents a pair!

CLOTHES - We have a few newborn things in boy & girl. Some of the older sizes were given to us or yard sale finds. We have lots of gender neutral sleepers hanging in the back. Everything is all washed & ready to go!

Our hospital bags are initially packed. We still need to throw in all the last minute items.
