eleven years

Thursday Jake brought home a big bouquet of flowers that was very similar to my wedding bouquet. So sweet.

Friday afternoon we had a sitter come watch the kids overnight. We enjoyed a night away in downtown Wilmington. We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Savorez. Lots of walking downtown. We saw the sunset up on the rooftop at Cloud 9. Late night ice cream and more walking. We stayed at Embassy Suites right on the river.

We are so thankful for the last eleven years.  Excited for many more together!

Summer Vacation to MN + WI

We just got home from a packed week in MN/WI. Our time went quickly, but we made lots of memories and enjoyed our time all together.

4 generations after brunch at Chris & Lindsay's on Thursday morning
All 5 siblings made it home to Spooner, WI
(We're missing a few cousins and spouses in this photo)
We were in Spooner Friday to Sunday.

Making fresh squeezed lemonade with Grandma T

The boy cousins playing fireman with the hose, the trike and the tractor. They played with Grandpa's tractor (mower) for an hour at least!

Fun memories not photographed: many family meals, two sleepovers with Margot, a pool party + cookout with everyone on Thursday evening, a road trip with Auntie Bekah, cousins sleeping in the camper in WI, Jake's siblings painting bedrooms for Dad & Mom F, meeting the Otto's at the park, a combined dinner at Eric and Jen's on Monday evening, etc...

Jack & the Beanstalk

Lily & Ella just finished up a week of music theatre camp at Brooklyn Arts Music Academy.  They learned a lot and had a blast all week. The camp was Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm.  The girls joined the camp on Tuesday. They memorized lines and practiced all week for their Friday night performance of Jack & the Beanstalk.

Practice, practice, practice...

Lily was the "Old Lady" (wife to the giant)

Ella was Flossie, a narrator

Friday Night Performance

They did AWESOME! It was amazing what all these kids learned in just one short week: songs, choreography, speaking lines, acting, etc...

Miss Linda with the girls afterwards.

A celebratory sweet treat!
