Father's Day 2021

Since we weren't all SEVEN together last week, we celebrated Father's Day at home today. We enjoyed breakfast together with waffle iron french toast, then headed to church, then Lowe's to look at beach house finishes, followed by lunch out at PT's Grille (Jake's pick).

So thankful for the father Jake is to our 4 forever kids and all the other #5's that we've had in our home over the years. He loves us all so well.

We all made the trek downtown for lunch with Auntie Bekah & Uncle Eric (they both had to work).

Wednesday morning we met all available cousins (Levang four not pictured) at French Park to play before we headed to the MSP airport for our 1:40pm flight.

My row slept on the way home.

Minnesota Vacation 2021 : Monday at Como Zoo

There were MANY cousin sleepovers.

HUGE thanks to Lindsay & Chris and Dad & Mom for their flexibility with all the sleepovers and the many meals they fed us over the week.

Monday morning, everyone who was in town and not working, met at Como Zoo. Our kids LOVE going to the zoo. We do not have a zoo near us so we try to make it to the zoo when in Minnesota.

Minnesota Vacation 2021: Saturday & Sunday

Saturday morning, we hit the road at 8am to meet Grandpa & Grandma Grandia and Aunt Ronda in Albert Lea, Minnesota.  They drove up from Newton, Iowa. It was so special to spend time with them. We played at a park for awhile and visited, then enjoyed lunch all together at Pizza Ranch.

Saturday was also Grandpa Tuttle's Birthday! We got back from Albert Lea after 4pm. We had dinner all together and celebrated Grandma. His birthday & father's day gift, from all of us, was a new firepit - we enjoyed that on Monday evening.

Minnesota Vacation 2021: 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

We celebrated Dad & Mom Flaming's 50th wedding anniversary (actual anniversary is December 27, 2020) on Thursday and Friday. Thursday evening we had a lovely outdoor dinner at Jen's house. The menu was brisket, roasted potatoes, green beans, salad, and rolls. Followed by Flaming family pictures.
