toothless

After weeks, maybe months, of the 2 middle top teeth barely hanging on, they finally came out. They have been so so wiggly. This girl does not like letting anyone pull her teeth. She lost the two middle bottom ones this summer, at 4 1/2 years old!

Grandpa & Grandma Flaming visit

We just had Jake's parents here visiting. They flew in Sunday evening and stayed until Friday mid-morning. It's been awhile since they have come to visit us - here back in 2018. We had a nice week showing them the beach house, Topsail Beach, the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the rocks at Kure Beach, the arboretum, Crystal Pier, ice cream at Lewis Farms, Wrightsville Beach, and our favorite spot on the intercoastal side at Blockade Runner. We also enjoyed playing games, painting with Grandpa, and reading with them and to them.

Developing an APP

Jake has been focusing most of his attention on learning how to develop an app for My Employees.  He started watching tutorials on coding & app development last March. The app he designed is for managers to submit their monthly winners. This will save the EC's a lot of time with calling or emailing for monthly winners.
Well, this week the link to the app was live on the Apple App Store and it was sent out to 500 of My Employees' clients. So Thursday we decided to celebrate Dad's App with an APPetizer party for dinner. We are so so proud of him!

APPetizer MENU: meatballs, potato skins with sour cream dip, pigs in a blanket, strawberries, popcorn shrimp with spicy chili dip, mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, veggies & hummus. YUM!

Jake also developed another app, in his spare time, for our kids to practice math facts. Try it out if you have school age kids. They can practice addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.
