We closed on our house TODAY at 1:30pm.

This has been a LONG process with many speed bumps, but we are so thankful that God has blessed us with this house.
We locked in on our rate back on April 13. We were initially scheduled to close on May 15. Due to the house being a short sale & the bank needing endless paperwork, our closing moved MULTIPLE times (at least 5 times). Thankfully, everything worked out & we got the house. This is a house that needs a lot of work (elbow grease) & TLC. Jake & I are planning on posting regular pictures, updates & videos as to the progress on our home.

Added Blessings:
- We were able to get the keys to the house Saturday evening. There is a TON of cleaning & scouring & scrubbing to do and we were glad to be able to start this past weekend. The previous owner had 3 cats & 2 dogs. . .need I say more?
- The previous owner left her lawn equipment for us! We have a lawn mower, edger, hedge trimmers, loppers, garden hoses, grass seeder, roto-tiller, etc...
- We have an apple & pear tree in the back yard. Can't wait to try out my green thumb.

Our old house had apple and pear trees. Beware of the pears that fall everywhere and ROT quickly in warm weather, attracting lots of bees and hornets! Yuck!
