We've been planning and anticipating this for months - Tuttle Christmas in Surf City.
My Mom rented a larger beach house, just a few blocks away from ours, for December 22-27. Mom, Levang's and Hight's stayed at the big house. We Flaming's stayed at our house. We swapped kids regularly for cousin sleepovers. We had SO much fun. Made SO many memories. And spent time remembering Grandpa - we miss him so much.
Christmas Eve we drove in to Wilmington for Christmas at The Bridge.
After the 11am Gathering, we went downtown Wilmington for lunch. We tried multiple places that were not open or could not handle all 17 of us. We ended up at Mellow Mushroom and it was perfect. After lunch, we toured the US Battleship North Carolina.
After the Battleship, we headed back to Surf City and stopped to see the lights at Lake Linda.
